I'm a big fan of DIY projects and prefer using anything natural first. I recently had a sudden outbreak in my skin which caused acne on my face that I had never experienced before. I did some research that benefited my entire body! This DIY will only require some items that can probably be found in your kitchen.

1. Baking Soda my absolute favorite! This can be used on your entire body. I like to sprinkle some over my toothpaste due to it's benefits in improving the health of your gums and removing plaque from your teeth. It's also a very effective whitener. This is good to use no more than once a week. Next, mix one tablespoon and the juice of a half of lemon together and add just a little water gradually to get a loose consistency. Very gently wash your face in a circular motion to exfoliate. Use this 3 times a week before your regular face wash routine to banish acne. Now for a full body polish on a body sponge with your favorite body wash pour at least 4 tablespoons on top of your sponge and use on your arms, stomach, back, legs and feet. Repeat this process on any trouble areas such as elbows, knees, underarms and ankles.

2. Honey from your local farmers market or the natural section of your grocery store will

work. Use three tablespoons of organic honey and one tablespoon of organic cinnamon for a face mask. Mix both ingredients and microwave for 30 seconds. Test the temperature on your wrist before applying to your face. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes and rinse off and pat dry your face with a clean towel or wash cloth.

3. Sugar for a weekly lip scrub. I love to use the SUGAR lip balm as a daily moisturizer, it has SPF in it which is great for the summer and it makes my lips super soft and smells delish! However, at least once a week I like to use my DIY sugar lip scrub. In a small container mix a teaspoon of coconut oil and a half of teaspoon of sugar together with the back of a spoon. After you've mixed it well rub a little scrub on your finger and apply to your lips gently in a circular motion using your fingertip.

4. Apple Cider Vinegar is a great skin toner. Mix one tablespoon apple cider vinegar and two cups water. Apply with a cotton ball over a clean, dry face to tighten skin. Do not rinse due to the Apple cider vinegar's natural alpha-hydroxy acids and acetic acid this helps minimizes pores.

Try one of my DIY and let me know how great your skin feels or tell me which ones you would like me to try!
